<div>Hello and good evening, my name is Treo Benajan. <strong>My family home and my current home, being on the same piece of land, were burned up in the park fire which started in upper park in Chico, the money will go towards clean up. Everything was destroyed except a few solar panels and a ladder. Id like to build a straw bale earth ship. They cost more but are sustainable and maintain a better consistency, temp and water usages. I need all water infrastructure replaced and building soil/replanting the mountain with native trees and plants.  California.</strong> I live in a small country town community of Cohasset. Cohasset is the community that I grew up in. I went to the local elementary school before it was closed, for a lack of students. When I went to school there, they had just started working towards having a computer lab as computers were quite new. We had an advocate named Ken Ball who worked diligently to get Apple computers into Cohasset School. I lived on and off through my young adulthood in Cohasset and had decided to move back to the family land to build my home more than 5 years ago. Building up the land and my home, I had all that I had ever created in this world on that land: a small house, solar system, biogas regenerative fuel system, and the foundation of a small business in gourmet mushrooms, having just completed the build and custom designed floor with central slit drain. Pre conditioning room, greenhouse air ducts fans and other required infrastructure. Things were looking up. A dream more than 10 years old was finally being born into reality, until the birth of a wildfire in Butte county capsized my dreams.

<div><strong>My home, tools, and all supportive infrastructure was lost.</strong> Backup generator, main generator, solar system batteries inverter, water truck, my main vehicle, a small pickup truck, were all lost to fire. I have very little to start over with. I have only a rental car for another week and then no way to get home. Once home, no way to leave, nowhere to live, no way of getting water. Basically, I feel like I don't even exist anymore.

<div>I am asking people who I don't know as I am the type of person who is neurodivergent and feel better with very selective people around of equal or higher intelligence. It's difficult for me to bond to "normal" minded people and who can understand me. I barely have two friends. But I don't mind, it's the diversity that makes our community magical. <strong>I would like to rebuild, I assume the well can be salvaged.</strong> It has a solar pump that also runs on a small generator or batteries. I haven't been able to get up there yet as I still have no confirmation of what the property looks like but from the one photo I do have, it's quite possible that all vegetation has been burned and that there's nothing left even though I had managed the forest quite successfully for the last 35 years. If given the opportunity, I will build underground and with stucco and maybe cob, plus there is a small dry ravine on the land that I could build a water storage pond, and at home in the same area we have some very magical geography on this part of the land and building underground has always been a dream of mine, and what better way to enhance an underground home then with a lake on the top of it. Certainly, it will create quite an Eden for all the animals of the forest, which I never kill, because it is my duty to protect nature.
