Please help restore Josh's faith in humanity

This is for Josh. Josh is an amazing 19 year old who has Autism, he was diagnosed at 2.5 years old. All of his life, Josh has struggled with his Autism. He has a significant social impairment and is unable to read social cue's. Josh believes everyone is genuine, honest and trustworthy.

Josh has 2 special interests in his life: Golf and World of Warcraft (WoW). These obsessions provide Josh with predictability helping him to make sense of the confusing world he finds himself in. Josh has played a mean game of golf since he was 8. He has won the putting championship 4 years in a row and many more titles than i can name. His handicap is 6.5. I'm so proud! WoW was his go to chill out after everything else, from a golf competition to a good/bad day at college or an exam. Even if golf, school or college was a bad day he had WoW to fall back on. Josh was very passionate about WoW and he wanted his 'toon' to be the best at raiding and get the achievements available to him in WoW.

Josh has played Wow for the the past 9 years and in the last 3 weeks he met a new 'friend'. Because of his Autism, making friends is very difficult for Josh so he was very excited to have a new friend.  This new 'friend' completely betrayed Josh and has ruined one of the only things that help's to calm him. This 'friend' told Josh he would boost his new character and also give him in-game gold and exclusive mounts if Josh bought Blizzard Gift Game Cards and gave him the codes for them. Josh being the innocent, vulnerable person he is did and ended up handing over £1400.00 before it was brought to my attention. I was mortified and knew the second Josh started to tell me what he had done that he had been scammed.
Believe me, I thought I had done everything I could to protect my amazing boy from the bad people out there.

Fortunately £600 of these transactions were flagged by the bank and returned. But we can't recover the rest of his money. His hard earned money is gone. It has been reported to the police and I have the crime reference but nothing they are prepared to follow up. We have contacted Blizzard Activision for help but they deleted our ticket!

Josh has worked since he was 16 as a part-time greenkeeper and has recently gone full time with the hope he can pay for his own golf membership, driving lessons and car insurance. This is an amazing achievement for Josh but most of his hard earned money has gone. Josh is so distraught, his anxiety levels are through the roof and it's a real set back for him. We're all so worried about him and it has caused a major upset for the whole family.

Josh has cancelled his WoW subscription and will no longer play. Josh says that he has "lost all faith in humanity". As his mum, I want to fix this for Josh. As does his Sister, Auntie and Nanna. We want to restore his faith in humantiy. Josh is broken and can't actually believe he was deceived like this as he thinks people are pure, honest and true to their word. I'm asking for your help to fix this for Josh. If i could, i'd give Josh the money and we would try and move on, but with 3 other mouths to feed I can't afford to.

Give me a glue gun or some sellotape and a screwdriver and it will be fixed! I'm practical. My greatest passion is fixing things for my children and this time go fund me is the only way I can think of helping him.

Josh is so traumatised, to the point where he needs counselling with an autism specialist to help with the effect this ordeal has had on his mental health. Josh feels stupid, vulnerable and violated to name just a few. This is approx £50 per session. Please help us turn this around and restore Josh's faith.  Thank you for your time, your support means the world to us.
