<div>My name is Keneisha Elson, and I’m asking for help for myself and my family in Westmoreland, Jamaica, where everything was ripped away from us during Hurricane Melissa. <strong>This storm has completely changed our lives, leaving us without homes, without belongings, and struggling to recover.</strong>

<div>There are eight of us in total: four children, three adults, and my elderly mother. Every one of us was affected.
</div>
<div>My sister Sewa Brown martin, her husband, and kids lost their entire roof, and everything inside her house was soaked and destroyed.
</div>

<div>I lost my own home completely, along with all my belongings: clothes, furniture, appliances, and personal items, along with two of my kids' stuff.
</div>

<div>My mom’s roof over the living room and veranda was ripped away, leaving her exposed to rain and wind.
</div>

</div>
<div>We are trying to stay strong, but it’s been very hard. The stress of losing everything has made things even more difficult. The children are scared and struggling to adjust.

<div><strong>We’re hoping to raise enough funds to help us repair roofs, replace essential items like beds and clothes, and supplies, and slowly rebuild what we’ve lost.</strong>
