<div>Hello, my name is Chris Luda. My wife Lisa and I have three children and live down here in North Fort Myers, Florida. We have a soon-to-be nine-year-old boy who loves to play baseball and soon-to-be four-year-old twins. Over the last year and a half or so, our lives have been turned upside down.

<div>In September 2022, we all calmly went to bed and early the next morning we woke up to find out that a major hurricane, Hurricane Ian, would soon be hitting our coastline. We packed what we could, loaded up the boys' bunk bed which they just got in early September with some personal things, and evacuated the area. The next day we returned to find out our home had flooded and most every belonging we had worked for over our 14 years of marriage was gone. We cried for a while and began to set everything at the curb to be picked up. We filed our claims with our insurance and the wait began.

<div>Two weeks later, we were forced to buy the camper pictured so we had a place to stay. FEMA trailers were not allowed in our area because we are in a flood zone. <strong>To make a very long story short, our insurance failed us, the state has questioned us, and we are out of resources.</strong>
