Hello everyone! Our dear friend was the victim of an attempted murder and robbery on December 29th while returning home from work. He was stabbed 13 times (the news reported 9 times which is incorrect), and suffered injuries to his face and a broken arm. Fortunately the attacker was arrested, but he was able to get away with the victim’s backpack and electric scooter. His backpack had his phone, his wallet and all of his IDs and credit cards. His main mode of transportation (the scooter) was also stolen. Those items have not been recovered. For his privacy and protection, I will keep his identity private. I am asking to raise some money to get him by while he recovers, as well as a way to replace the items stolen. He may not be able to return to work for a month or more, and right now he should be focusing on his recovery but instead is stressed about finances. I am raising this money without his knowledge in hopes to surprise him and lift his spirits in this difficult time. If you have any funds to spare, it would be greatly appreciated.
