My name is Jill Batterson. I am helping a friend recover from an armed robbery which left her pistol-whipped, traumatized, and financially stressed. She withdrew $2000 for her rent money from her bank and went next door to get her nail polish changed for our holiday party this weekend. Three armed and masked men came into the salon, pistol-whipped her in the face, knocked her to the ground, and continued to beat her. They stole her purse and her rent money. She does have minimal health coverage but a high deductible and had to be taken to the ER in an ambulance.

This happened in Willow Glen on a quiet Friday afternoon. The only way I know how to help her is to ask for financial contributions to help her cover this month's rent and her out-of-pocket medical expenses. I do not want to share her name because the beasts that violated her have her information.

Please help her. She is a hardworking, honest, and kind human being who does not deserve this kind of brutality. Any amount will help to restore her faith in humanity and get her through this painful time.
