Restore Detroit's Chinatown: Support Mural Art

Donation protected
The Detroit Chinatown Vision Committee is working to restore Detroit's former Chinatown. The Burton International School was located in Detroit's Chinatown (on Cass and Peterboro) and was home to many students that spent time in Detroit's historic Chinatown.

As part of our efforts to revitalize Detroit's Chinatown, we are looking have artists paint murals around the Chinatown area. One that we have identified as a strong priority is the restoration of an old mural of a tree that has faded from the facade of the Burton International School building.

We have identified Asian-American muralist Anthony Lee as an artist that we would like to complete this mural restoration project. Help support this project as a way to beautify Detroit's Chinatown with artwork that will bring nostalgia to former residents and bring beauty to the area as we work to restore the Chinatown area.

The funding will be sent to American Citizens for Justice , a nonprofit that is our fiduciary agent and one that we collaborate with on projects frequently.

Thank you for your support!
