<div>Hi all Lower Burwain it's a local beauty spot in Foulridge. Which was constructed in 1793 to supply water to the newly constructed Leeds &amp; Liverpool Canal. It is one of four reservoirs which feed the six mile summit length of canal.

<div>For many years it has served as a local beauty spot for local people. Who regularly visit the site to walk, take there dogs out, ride bikes and view the abundance of wildlife the Res and area holds.

<div>Burnley and Pendle District angling associations was formed and ran by anglers with with the goal of providing quality fishing for everybody. As part of our continuing work within the area we maintained the banks of Foulridge.
