Squatter Stole Everything -- Help!

My dear friend Deidre is a kind soul who made the mistake of letting a supposedly homeless person stay at her home. The offer was for a short-term stay until the visitor found a job and a place of her own. Deidre, who has a house-sitting business, was often not at home, and one day she shows up at her home to find her visitor has changed the locks. Long story short, the visitor had stayed long enough in Deidre's home to use Ohio law to benefit her and force Deidre to evict her, even though Deidre was not her landlord and there never was a rental agreement. And, until the matter would be resolved in court, Deidre was even required to give her 24 hours notice before she showed up, even though this was Deidre's home. And the police said there was nothing they could do because until she was evicted, the law was the visitor's side.
In reality, the visitor became a squatter, and until she was formally evicted, Deidre could do nothing. On Tuesday, the court decided in Deidre's favor, allowing her to move forward with the eviction. However, the squatter had to be given 24 hours notice. Starting last weekend and through this morning--the day of the eviction--Deidre has had to take calls from her neighbors telling her that trucks and vans were leaving with her belonging. Appliances, furniture, yard tools, beds: all of Deidre's home furnishing and belongings are gone.
The police have been called throughout this process several times, and while they indicated that they believed Deidre, there was nothing they could do because the lying squatter claimed the items were here. At this point, it is highly unlikely that Deidre will every get her belongings back. They have been sold for drug money most likely. She does intend to pursue criminal charges against the squatter, but again, that will not bring her belongings back.
The irony here is that Deidre's worst mistake in this was being kind. The squatter didn't show her true colors until much later, once she has gained the upper hand by taking advantage of the laws.
This campaign is designed to provide Deidre some seed money so that she can replace the items that were stolen from her, repair the vandalism, get her home professionally cleaned (the squatter and her many friends were smokers and druggies, so enough said on that), change the locks, and invest in a home security and monitoring system.
Many of these expenses will be coming soon, so we are hoping to get this funded within the next 3 weeks.
Whatever you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Deidre is being forced to rebuild her household piece by piece, and you know how hard that can be. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
