Our goal is to create a global chain of non-profit restaurants that will hire and train individuals from reformation and reintegration programs in order to provide a step towards a better life. All profits from each restaurant go back into the neighborhoods in which they are located to help improve quality of life.
The United Nations counts about 7 million internally displaced people (IDP) within the country of Colombia; more than Syria, Iraq or any other war zone. It is a known fact that countries with a high number of IDPs are plagued with extreme poverty, increased drug use, higher rates of violence and sexual exploitation. We are currently raising $60,000 for our first restaurant in Medellín, Colombia. This restaurant will provide the following services:
We hire victims of extreme poverty, homelessness, sexual exploitation, reintegrating convicts, reintegrating recovering addicts, internal and external refugees.
We offer a variety of self-help programs including: culinary arts, customer service, financial management and professional communication. To assist our hires with the process we provide various counseling services and a family-focused work environment with the goal of ending poverty while helping individuals reach their full potential.
The profits created from operating these restaurants go back into the local community in order to improve quality of life. Restaurants On Mission dedicates 50% of its profits to a yearly City Project, 30% of its profits to Neighborhood Projects and the remaining 20% to growth.
The great thing about donating to Restaurants On Mission is that your donation will help create a self-sustainable business that will continue to grow your donation. Based upon moderate projections, every four years your one-time donation will double in value.

We are an approved 501(c)3 foundation with the IRS and a non-profit foundation approved with the DIAN in Colombia. All donations are tax deductible as allowable by law. Upon donation, you should receive a receipt from GoFundMe and within 72 hours you will receive the tax deductible reciept from Restaurants On Mission.
