Rest in peace Bruno

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Humane Society Silicon Valley, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to

In Lieu of my boy Bruno who was a rescue dog im asking that you please donate to a great cause ...even just 1 dollar can help a pet in need..pets waiting for their forever home ..without the shelter having saved Bruno as he was found gilroy 8 years ago I would have never been able to have had him in my life. Bruno was two years old when he was found, he was malnourished..had burs embedded in his fur. No one ever set out to find him. It was on a warm day in June he was picked up by animal control . I adopted Bruno on July 3rd, he had no idea what a car ride was in fact he drove from San Martin to San Jose in the backseat facing backwards lol riding in the car would end up being one of his favorite things. When we got Bruno we were sure he did not have a bark as we never heard a peep from would be six months later he would bark for the first time.. He knew at that point he had chose us and would work to protect us and that he did. Bruno was a naughty boy for a while he had a hard time feeling at ease with anyone remotely close to his Mama..boy did he love me. Bruno loved going for walks he knew at the sound of his leash clanking that it was time to couldn't even mention a word that sounded like walk or go and his ears would perk up. Bruno loved his hedgehog we called it his baby. Bruno was a brat he did not like other dogs and he did not like squirrels. Bruno loved to be wherever I was even if that meant being in the bathroom with me. Sometimes I believed greatly he tried so hard to understand everything i was saying he would turn his head from side to side and gaze at me with understanding. Bruno was a smart boy. 1 year and 1 month ago i found a lump on bruno's right chest we immediately went in for xrays, labs, and multiple biopsies, we later found out that the mass was inoperable due to the location of the mass and the risks it was decided to have regular checks ups and later on pain management. Over the course of the year Bruno slowed down..his mass grew about 10 times the diagnosed size and bruno was down 10 lbs. He often refused meals..and the pain meds no longer seemed to be keeping him comfortable. On Nov 16th at 530 pm I lay on the hospital floor with Bruno on a blanket while they
helped him go to his final resting place..he licked the tears from my face until his heart stopped..Bruno was the most loyal friend. His love was unmeasurable and my heart will forever have a missing piece. We adopt and rescue to save animals but in reality they adopt and rescue us often when we dont even realize we need it. Thank you Bruno for allowing me to be your human
