Rest In Peace Alberto Vicuna

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you, on behalf of his family, the sad news of the untimely passing of my ex-father-in-law, Alberto Vicuna. Alberto was someone who was always laughing, partying, dancing, well-known to be the life of the party everywhere he went. You could hear his voice and feel his presence as soon as he walked in a room. He was an avid soccer fan, spending a lot of his free time playing the sport he loved, and passing down that same love for the sport to his sons. He was a free spirit, whos enthusiasm and high energy was contagious. But most importantly, despite his share of trials and tribulations, Alberto was a man with a good heart. Beneath his wild and untamed demeanor, was a soft, and loving man. A man who valued family and friends, and whos most precious treasure were his children, whom he loved unconditionally. Having an especially close bond with his only daughter, Jeanette, or as he would call her, “su negra”.  

Sadly, Alberto passed away on Sunday, March 11th, of what seems to have been a heart attack. He was playing the sport he loved. He was only 59 years old.

His children are not only grieving the sudden and unforeseen loss of their dad, but are also left to bear the unexpected costs of his funeral arrangements.
