Courvoisier Thurman was the oldest of two kids. He and Kala Wilson, both are children of my sweet dear Aunt Jackie." Vosy" was the nickname given to Courvoisier from our Family. He was an extreme hard worker even with a paralyzed left side of his body (Left leg), he was determined to succeed at whatever, and was very family orientated. My cousin was born on March 14th, 1989 in Chicago, IL. Chicago life was fair, but in 2008 Vosy decided to move to Iowa, mainly for a better life than Chicago.
On Saturday February 10th, our grandmother Lloyd, who also lives in Chicago, was hospitalized for a stroke that did not kill her. On February 17th, my mother, her fiance, and my cousin Vosy decided to pay my grandmother a visit! Within one hour of their arriving, my cousin Vosy was fatally shot once in the back of his skull, while walking from the store. He was pronounced Dead On Arrival (DOA) by Chicago Ambulance. We know that Vosy was wrongfully shot, and justice is needed. We pray the police will find the killer and God keeps us all safe.
Now, I would ask any and everyone who can help, to help. If you able, please donate what you can. Our family is now financially responsible for paying for his funeral. Necessities such as a Coffin, burial fees, and other miscellaneous expenses are due for the death of my cousin! Any help is needed, and would be greatly appreciated. And to Families in Chicago, please be safe. As well, please pray for the Thurman/McGee family!. Estimated costs are $2000.00
