Respite Trip

After some nudging, I have been given permission to organize this fundraiser. Elizabeth and Jeannette would like to get away for a few days of fun this summer. This is a usual summer happening modestly budgeted for a short respite from the daily grind.  But current circumstances make it completely different than usual. This year, Brad's condition is such that he is not able to travel at all, nor is he able to be alone for any period of time. The budget for 24 hour paid care for them to go on a short trip is just not there. I think this time to connect together is so important. I know that myself and other friends and family have been looking for ways to support Jeannette and Elizabeth and here is a way to do just that. Mother-daughter bonding, while knowing that dear Brad is well taken care of is a gift that they will both cherish forever. Their days are filled with love for the man that they adore and whom has been dealt a lousy card of early onset ahlzeimers. And their days are also filled with much heartache for the many losses that they all are enduring daily. A short respite with this peace of mind included is a way to show this beautiful family our love and support. Please help if you can and are moved to do so!
