Resilient Minds Training Program
Tax deductible
Hi, my name is Mo Peacock and I am raising money for New Hanover and Brunswick county first responders to attend a class in Asheville, NC in December.
This course trains the new trainers that work in emergency services on how to effectively develop mental stability, flexibility, and situational awareness, as well as how to thrive through highly effective mindfulness and recovery practices.
I plan to take this mindfulness based training and teach what I've learned with the organizations that we are a part of:
North Caroline First Responder Peer Support
NHRMC
Oak Island Fire Dept
Wrightsville Beach Fire Dept/Ocean Rescue/PD
South Atlantic Lifesaving Association
The funds raised will go towards the cost of the class taught in Asheville, NC on Dec 16-17
as well as hotel and travel expenses.
Any residual money from this fund raiser go back to
NC First Responder Peer Support.
This group not only provides mental health education and understanding but also funds first responders who might need financial assistance with mental health resources.
