is headed to Bangladesh, Nepal and India in October 2018.
This year we have chosen to raise money for Solar lights.
We will be using your donations to purchase lights through https://solight-design.com/pages/help-make-a-difference
Darkness is an epidemic and a huge pubic health concern. Research has shown that rape and assault goes down by almost 20% when there is light. We will be delivering light directly to the refugees and camps in Bangladesh, families in Nepal and villagers in India.

You donate one, we donate one!
With each $30 (retail cost of one solar light) donation made by you, through our gofundme page, we will also purchase one additional light to bring with us.
While donating lights to anyone in need is greatly appreciated, we prefer you donate through our gofundme page, to ensure all donations will be going towards the Solights we will be packing up and bringing with us on our trip.
** We are a newly established NGO and currently in the process of filing for tax exempt status. Once we are approved, we will send you our tax code for your 2018 tax filing records**
In Nepal, we will continue working with the primary school of Basbot village we have been supporting over the past several years. With any additional funds, we hope to also raise money to have solar panels installed for the school. This will provide the students with electricity and access to internet. Additional donations will including clothing, books, and used laptops. Some children in this village have to give up school in order to help their parents with work. We also seek to provide scholarships as incentive to encourage children and their families to make education a priority. We appreciate any donation to help support these students!
