Research Field Course

Hi everyone ! 
I am raising money for my research field course to South Korea. This course will allow me to do research on a country and culture I am very interested in and complete my previous study abroad opportunity.  I studied abroad in South Korea where I got to experience the culture of student life with my Korean roommate and the friends I had made there. Besides Student Life there is a lot of culture I did not get to experience or learn about. This field course is giving me the opportunity to learn about Korean culture in a way I have never done before. I will be learning about geographical culture and will be conducting research in South Korea on the different aspects and geographical regions within the country. We will experience urban and rural culture while partaking in a slew of activities. 

Even though I have already travel to South Korea I still cannot believe it happened. Studying abroad has been a dream of mine since I found out about high school Europe trips in junior high. I am thrilled and extremely grateful to my university's study abroad committee for them giving me the opportunity to have experienced and to experience something so amazing. 

To be able to travel to a country I have only dreamed about is one (amazing) thing but this field course also contributes to my undergraduate degree as I am majoring in Linguistics and minoring in Asian Studies. This course fills the requirements for my educational career and my personal career. I have always considered working abroad and my study abroad opportunities are fuelling  my desires and surpassing my expectations of living abroad. 

I really hope to be able to accomplish this course, I am asking for help because the entire trip will cost $4200 without my semesters tuition.
