Rescue Mission to Tacloban

Donation protected
Help me fly to Tacloban City on a mission to rescue family members who are trapped, getting sick, and unable to get out. My wife Liza's family, the Homeres Family, survived Typhoon Yolanda, but they don't know if they can survive no water, food, the danger, and the illness that is creeping in.

They have dead bodies in the street in front and back of their home. The smell is unbearable. I want to take water purification systems / tablets, non perishable food, medicine, a generator and other supplies, not only to help our family, but the many needy people there.

I've looked at the Sawyer Water Filtration system that was recommended to me. It removes Viruses, Bacteria, and Protozoa in as little as 15 minutes, saving countless lives. The cost of each system is $250. The more I raise, the more systems I can buy.

I'm hoping to take 4 family members back to Manila to safety. They have a cousin in Manila to stay with. My mother in law also is a permanent resident of the USA. If I have enough to buy another plane ticket, I hope to bring her back on US soil to safety.

Even though supplies are starting to flow in, it is not getting to them. There is gunfire on the streets and mad mobs hungry for food and water. I am willing to risk my safety to help them. Another person had family on another island bring supplies by boat. People saw the food and water and mobbed the boat, taking everything.

This video shows the street, Magalanes, behind our house with debree as high as 5 feet. There are bodies buried underneath the piles. The smell is coming into their home and they are getting sick.

The hotel is Alejendro, about 4 blocks from our home. We've also seen a photo on REAL STREET, which is the front entrance leading to our house. There are two dead bodies at the entrance. It's just horrifying.

I will film my trip to document where your money has gone as well as post the video for all to see. I'll also post photos on my facebook page with updates for all to see (as possible...no electricity there, but there is a social media center with a generator)

I also am going to collect left over Halloween candy from friends to take over an bag it in zip log bags to give out. I heard a kid say, there isn't even any candy. It broke my heart. Imagine their faces when they are able to taste a simple piece of candy.
