RR Holiday Booster/Blessing 2018

Donation protected
First and foremost, we want to wish everyone wonderful holidays and a happy New Year! May you be much blessed--always!

The Rescue Ranch needs a big boost this holiday season--but any boost will be gratefully accepted!  Please let your life be a blessing to our special needs animals.

Abandoned with injuries, disabled, blind, incontinent through medical reasons or accidents or illness, paralyzed, unable to walk, mouth injuries and deformaties, missing a body part (from tails to eyes),  distemper survivors with side effects--needing continued management, advanced heartworm disease plus something else, four in wheelchairs, and more.

ALL are welcome at the Rescue Ranch--whether they are referred by way of their vet, a shelter calls, a rescue pleads their last chance, their family just can't give them 24/7 care or we find them abandoned, sick or injured and alone, we know that kindness and compassion is endless and with your help, we can always find a way to help and help many--not only have a good life but that they, too, will know love.

Hurricane Harvey, the loss of our primary benefactor's support due to an early-onset terminal illness, and increased expenses is just leveling us.

As special needs animals get older, unexpected medical issues and additional equipment and supplies are needed.

We are also especially sensitive to the need to give these animals, who cannot run and play, something to stimulate them every day--like Dingo Ringos, Dreambone Rattle balls and other long-term chews (see our amazon Wish List--link below).

Right now, there is a great need for help here with:

Medicine: Bill pending $720

Daily Chews (special needs animals can't run and play--trying to get away from rawhide, except for Dingo Ringos--needed in Bulk--at http://www.petmountain.com

Canned food (some of them are mouth-challenged and many cannot eat kibble or just kibble)

Waterproof Crate Pads (from Jeffers/link on blog/link below)

Small bits kibble with corn NOT in the first five ingredients

Blankets (50 x 60 and 60 x 80 as well as new or gently used twin or double bed comforters welcome!)

Crates (some need to be replaced this year/every animal or bonded pair have a dedicated crate--size from small to ginormous--to sleep in. We need some new, both wire and plastic crates--animals DO have their preferences--you'd be amazed!)

Kennel decking for each (a platform that goes under the crates so the dogs' crates are not on the cold floor is sold only at Petco. To see it, go to https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/the-kennel-deck1)

So much more is needed, but this minimum need will get us started and pay off the medicine!  If we are blessed to get more than the amount asked for, it will stay in reserve and it will be used as needed and/or help us replace the wearing out crates faster!

Please see our blog page* for the links to both our Amazon Wish List page and to a link for the crate pads--AND some of our "SNOW in Houston" pics from Dec., 2017!!

Start on:  http://www.firststop-laststop.com

...then, If you are not already registered, just click on the RR BLOG page link on the left side and then you will see that you need to "register." Just type in your email address and write "from the RR email list" in the comments section and you will receive an email back in a few hours that you are "approved."  During Hurricane Harvey and afterward, there were some undesirable attempts to enter the site so it was locked to prevent this behavior while things settled down.

Wishing you and your family and fur babies a wonder holiday!  Happy Hanukkah!  Merry Christmas!  Have a blessed New Year!!

Sending love and hugs always--
The Rescue Ranch Herd and their people!
