When we found Brandy on Craigslist the people were keeping her in a 20 by 20 building, using her to give them puppies to sell we assume. Brandy is a full breed Irish Setter. She was 86 pounds obese. We took Brandy the next day to the vet, she had two ear infections plus she had scratched her skin raw. They did blood test on her and we found out she also had diabetes and allergies. She needs two shots a day and a allergy pill and glucose testing every two weeks. Plus a high fiber diet . All of this has already cost us around $1,000 . To keep her alive it will cost us a month $89 high fiber food, $50 allergy pills, $30 for needles, $114 diabetes medication, she gets two shots a day, $135 twice a month for vet glucose testing. Also $79 every three months for flea and tick pill. Brandy is now potty trained, we live on 50 acres and she loves to run and play and chases all the wild life. Brandy is the most loving Dog I have ever known. She loves to jump in my lap and puts her legs around my shoulders and lays her head on my shoulder. She loves to play fetch also with my husband. Please help us be able to keep Brandy alive. She spent the first 6 years of her life locked up in a 20 by 20 building used for breading by those people we assume. So please help us fight to be able to afford to save Brandy’s life, enjoy being loved and a part of a family. Thank you!
