Rescued from Harvey/House destroyed

My sweet cousin, April and husband, Leroy, ( aka Rhett Dobberstein) her two amazing children, Layla and Preston have been put through so much with this hurricane. They live in Whispering Pines neighborhood in Baytown Texas. This neighborhood was destroyed by the flooding of Cedar Bayou after the hurricane poured about 52 inches of rain on Baytown.
April and Leroy were not too concerned with leaving the home they have worked so hard to provide for their family because the streets were just barley flooded, until the bayou became overloaded with water. It was unexpected but they had to be rescued from the flooding and the last that they knew, the house was at least 2 feet under water. There were pictures on social media of the neighbor’s house the next day and that house was already flooded at least 4-6 feet. Today or tomorrow, April and Leroy, Layla and Preston will return to the house to start sorting thru the mess. In the meantime, all these incidentals will add up. Of course there are a lot of people out there with a lot of damage, a lot of Texans have lost their homes and lives….a lot of people have been asking how to help April and Leroy, so I wanted to start this account, so they can have on hand money to help get thru the next few weeks esp. with no paycheck coming in. Not only are they my family, but they are Texans! Please help in any way possible. Much love to everyone that has asked how to help. This money will go directly to the family to get them through before any aid is issued.
