Rescued a Lemon

Hello Pet Lovers! My name is Linda and I am a veterinary hospital manager in the greater Los Angeles area, and I am seeking your help! A little puppy came into my office over this past weekend on the verge of death after ingesting a dangerously high dose of THC. He was barely moving and his body temp was critically low. His parents were young and couldn’t afford treatment or any future care, so they chose to relinquish him to my hospital. After 24 hours of hospitalization, the puppy bounced back. :)
My employee was planning on keeping him, but noticed a limp. She brought him back in for x-rays, and in the midst of taking x-rays of his leg, they noticed a giant rock in his stomach! My employee explained to me that she couldn’t afford his surgery since she still has five other dogs at home she cares for, so that’s when I decided to take ownership of the puppy, now named Lemon.
Although we can perform Lemon’s surgery to remove the rock, I recently learned that Lemon’s limp is due to a rare fracture in his elbow that requires orthopedic surgery. Unfortunately, we do not perform that type of surgery, so I will have to take Lemon to a board certified surgeon to have his elbow fixed. I am looking to raise up to $4000 to help cover the costs of his orthopedic surgery and recovery. Any proceeds that extend the costs, will be donated to other pet parents in need.
