Rescue Our Relocation
Donation protected
When the client company in Manhattan went under, I was out of work long enough that the farm in Pine Bush got foreclosed. We have to relocate to Nashville where my new job is. I have arthritis; my wife has endometriosis and fibromyalgia. We had to hire movers. After the movers loaded half our stuff, they doubled the rate, then tripled it when everything was loaded, and would not let us back out and find someone else. The final bill is more than we can meet in the time they are giving us. The first payment is due this coming Friday, July 9. They have all our worldly belongings, including my wife's loom, pictured above, and all her fiber stock. Being a textile artist is one of the few things she can do these days. The movers have left us refugees in our new home, bereft of even cooking utensils and most of our clothes. We had already sold all our livestock, and used that money for the down payment, and we're still far short. There's alpaca fiber and hand spun yarn and maille jewelry and other handmade items in our stuff that we will send out in gratitude once we have recovered our relocation, if you need incentives. Please help us pay them before they auction off everything we had.
