Rescue Morgan Horse needs surgery

Figure is a Morgan horse that I adopted 11 years ago from a rescue. He had the equivalent of a nervous breakdown.   We have had an amazing 11 years. To be honest, he rescued me. I am now divorced and supporting all of the animals on my little farm alone as a single older woman.  Figure has never been sick.  Last night he had a horrible colic and had to be rushed to the Equine Hospital.  We had to make the horrible decision to do surgery asap or let him suffer and die, or put him down.  He had intestinal lypomas and damaged 3-4 ft of intestines.  Figure was in a tremendous amount of pain. It was urgent to move ahead as quickly as possible.
I am on a fixed income that is lower than most. He is not ready to go and I am far from done with all the lessons he teaches me. Life is better with him in it.  The surgery is very costly and I am now left with a huge bill for the excellent care he received. I need help and humbly ask anyone that is so inclined to help us. Life is too short not to help our fellow creatures.  Figure & I thank you in advance for your consideration and for all  you angels on the earth.
