Rescue Dog involved In Hit & Run

My beloved rescue dog was spooked on a walk & bolted, leash in tow. 18hours later he was involved in a hit and run and now requires surgery. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
He had both bones in his front right leg broken, and will be requiring a plate. The vet is hopeful on his recovering, and should be home tomorrow.

For those of you who would like to know more about where your money will be going, heres a general list.
-two sets of xrays (one at each vet), IV fluids, sedation, anesthesia, pain medication, full blood work, cleaning and dressing lacerations and scraps, and of course the big one, broken bones and plate insert surgery.
