Replacement Truck for Bob Shaw

Donation protected
Indiana University is a place full of luxuries from large limestone buildings to the diverse opportunities that are offered here. However, sometimes it is the small luxuries that become easy to overlook in a place like this. Every student receives a different experience, but for 80 of us there is one luxury that we are endlessly thankful for, Bob Shaw.

Bob is a chef here at Acacia Fraternity and on his way home on April 11th he was involved in an auto-accident. Because of the accident Bob’s truck was totaled and health complications will have him out of work through the Summer until he is able to return in August. Money is tight right now for Bob so in order to help with the financial costs of a new truck and hospital bills we here at Acacia are asking for your help!

We would like to share a little about Bob so that you have a better understanding of why we care so much and to show you who he really is. Bob arrives at 702 E 3rd St. at 5AM daily and is never late. His specialty if breakfast (I know what you are all thinking) but Bob is much more than a cook who makes us food. Bob is a part of our family because he is a man who is willing to go above and beyond for absolutely anyone at anytime and has quickly become one of the most respected figures in our house. Each morning you can count on a loud “HECK YA, BUDDY. WHAT CAN I GET FOR YOU?” as soon as you step into the kitchen. Bob’s attitude and enthusiasm is contagious, and he is the reason we all get up before 9 even when we don’t have class until 1. He is also a US Army veteran who served several tours oversees which just makes everything he does so much more impressive and admirable.

Bob Shaw truly is a luxury in our lives and we want to do everything in our power to help our guy out. I hope you understand how much he means to us and decide to donate! Any amount helps, and we are grateful for any contributions. We salute you Bob!

We the Acacia Fraterity of Bloomington Indiana are Showing are Apprecition for All Bob Shaw's Hard Work and Dedication to his Job within our Kitchen.
The Monies That are Being donated are being used to pay for the truck, Sales Tax Plates & Insurance (Medical Expense's) as to allow Bob Shaw to have a Truck that's paid  for in it's intirety with no expense's out of his pocket.  An Acacia Allumni  Rusty Fishel put up the money to Purchase the truck for Bob, so he will have a way to get to and from work while the remaining Balance is Being collected(to repay Rusty F. for Purchasing the Truck).  Truly a Generious Gift from the Acacia Fraturity Brothers, Allumni, Parents, and Friends of Bob Shaw.  Thank you For all you do Bob we Love you and have great Respect for what you Bring to Us All.
