Replace Casey’s Stolen Scooter

My primary source of transportation to go between appointments at my job has been stolen. I bought this scooter 3 weeks ago BRAND NEW because my last one had finally fallen apart and I cannot believe that it is gone, I’m absolutely crushed.
Insurance just called to inform me that in the transferring of my coverage from my last scooter to this one, comprehensive coverage was not transferred or added and so they will be doing nothing to help recover the cost of my stolen bike. This is a huge blow to me financially and personally, in ways that I don’t even know how to stress.
The original cost of the bike out the door at the dealer after tax, freight charge, registration, set up, etc was $2,880. The reason that I am asking for $3000 is because gofundme uses a 2.9% processing fee and $0.30 of each donation and this should help offset that so I can just cover the cost of the bike.
Hopefully you see this as a worthy cause, any donation would mean the world to me right now as I feel totally bummed out and just want my bike back.
