Replace Brook's transmission

Hi, I'm Brook and I need to replace the transmission in my truck. Currently I don't have Drive and Reverse! The mechanic can put a used transmission in for 2900+

I have already paid this month's rent and have the money to pay my bills, but nothing extra.

I have a full time job. And I recently moved to decrease my expenses. Unfortunately after we were locked into the lease, my roommate fell thru. So I'm strapped thin and borrowing from a family friend until I can increase my income. This is a terrible time for the vehicle to act up! (Never would be ideal, of course.)
