Replace a handicap van

My name is Adele Davis and I am asking for your help and generosity on behalf of my friend Jerri Gardner.

Jerri  had a fulfilling and happy life until 1989 when at age 30 she had a horrible auto accident caused by a blow out of a tire on her Ford Maverick. The car flipped over and Jerri was airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center where she fought for her life for several weeks. The final prognosis , Jerri would be a paraplegic. As part of a small settlement (now depleted) from Ford Motor Co., Jerri was provided with a handicapped van.  It has quit working after 27 years and really cannot be repaired.

My goal is to raise $40,000,00 to replace her van or enough funds to purchase a used replacement. Your donation would give Jerri the mobility and freedom to pursue her charity work with a canine rescue facility as well as  her daily life. She is now confined to her home with her devoted service dog Missy.
