We need help-Hurricane Harvey

Hello, 

My name is Kwang Hwa Jung. Now I am working in Baylor College of Medicine at Houston (Dr. Kaipparettu's lab) as a postdoc fellow. I have been lived with my wife, just housewife and one kid in elementary school for 5 years since I came to United States. 

During recent hurricane Harvey, my new house was totally flooded, and the water started to get out of my house from the last week. As you imagine, I lost everything including appliances, furniture and my car.  I couldn’t save anything besides some short pants and a pair of slippers (I could only save them when we evacuated on 08/27/2017).

For recovering, I should spend lot of money, but I have a problem due to not having flood insurance. I and my wife already spent all money to purchase.   We had lived for 40 days in that new house. Along with these, I am still not fully recovered from shock of losing my father by recent car accident. I am totally depressed for finding a way to recover house. Now I have no idea when we can go back to my house.

Over the last weekend, I started to clean out every stuff were damaged, but I had to throw away everything in the house and even every fixture in the house. I lost everything. To get some time to repair house and go back there, we really need your supports at any extent. 

As you imagine, with my current post-doctoral position as a trainee (low salary), it will be hard to make money to recovering from damage of the catastrophic disaster. 

So I heartily ask your help and support for my fundrasing. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and helpful for our family.  And we will use the funds to repair and recover my home.
