Repair Nick’s car door and replace stolen items
Donation protected
My name is Nick Capone
Around 5p on 12/15/20 my car was burglarized outside of my workplace while I was inside working. Not only did they bust my window and steal my stuff but they also badly damaged my entire passenger door. I took it to a trusted body shop and was quoted upwards of $2000 to repair/replace the door. My insurance deductible will help some but that was set pretty high.
Not only that, but the repair time was estimated to be a week to week and a half, so I’ll be working less during that time.
Items stolen included: 12” Alpine subwoofer in an enclosure, a sling bag with my wallet, driver’s license, debit/credit cards, & cash, a winter jacket, a large pizza bag (which belongs to the pizza shop), and jumper cables.
Total cost for me out of pocket for this is looking like $1000 for the insurance deductible and a loss of $400-500 in stolen items I’d like to replace.
I’m asking for $1400 to hopefully cover everything so I won’t have to struggle during the holiday season. I’ve been working fewer hours at work than usual since the pandemic struck, so I’m not making as much.
