Help save Dzul family home in Mexico

My name is Elizabeth Lopez and I’m setting up this page for my parents Francisca and Jose in Mexico. On June 5th 2020, a tropical storm Cristobal hit Mexico and other South American regions. This caused floods which led to many families evacuating and seeking refuge, my parents being one of those families. They have been living in Yucatán, Mexico for the past 11 years with my younger brother (Manuel)whom I haven’t seen since then. They have worked endless hours in the United States to save up money for a small home and attached restaurant. That restaurant was their livelihood and any income they made helped them with my mother’s medication for diabetes and other health complications. Unfortunately they didn’t have insurance so they don’t have any assistance in rebuilding. As it stands they have lost everything that they worked so hard for. I am asking for help in raising $5,000-$10,000 in hopes of helping them to attempt to salvage their home and restaurant so they can start to rebuild their life back together. I have set this account under my supervision while my mother gets established. I will make sure to give her all the donations either through her bank or money gram where she can pick up funds. This will be so my mother can get her medication and buy supplies to repair their home. Anything would help tremendously. Thank you all and God bless. Update 7/16/20: I need to inform the donors that I will be collecting the donations in my checking account and transferring them to my mom’s account through MoneyGram. I have sent her approximately $600 and in which she has received. It’s hard to proof this unless I post a screenshot of it in pictures. Her remaining $1580 are on hold because of this reason.
