Repair Catholic Church "Srce Isusovo" in Zenica

Church needs our help - it's the parish that "my brother & I got christened, received our First Holly Communion & our parents got married"
This parish has helped many communities in Zenica & the surrounding areas.
Calling on the entire community to donate and get involved just like this church helped so many in need during and post war.
It's the place that saved my family & many other local families from being killed during the war, it was the place that kept us all safe during very uncertain times.
Parish is called "Srce Isusovo" which translate to Sacred Heart - located in a little village called "Cajdras" where once upon a time it had a population of 1,200 which has reduced to just over 300. Their financial circumstances are very tough and live very difficult lives.
Many families including my parents left the war torn village/country in hope of finding peace and we have been able to find that in the "lucky country called Australia"
I am calling on all my family, friends, acquaintances & wider Croatian - Australian community to help me raise much needed funds for the Parish that saved my life.
The funds will be used to refurbish and rebuild the "Church, Hall & Father's House" which is currently in vary bad shape.
Windows are rotting, there is no insulation in the house, the gutters are falling off, roof tiles are rotting away and façade has fallen off the house.
This parish was built back in 1977 by the local residence and since then no work has been undertaken to improve the buildings, you can appreciate what type of conditions they are currently operating in.
We will be hosting a "Fundraising Lunch" on the 23/6/2019, if you can't make it to lunch, your donation would be greatly appreciated.
