Repair a vandalized non-profit scout camp

Donation protected
In July, the 1st Prince George BPSA Scout group’s camp was broken in to. The camp, called Buckhorn Lodge, is located south of Prince George and hosts dozens of camps for youth of all ages each year. The damage and theft included broken doors, windows, and lights, and the loss of camping gear and equipment, including stoves, coolers, lanterns, chairs, first aid supplies, and more.

BPSA is a non-profit scout group that is powered completely by volunteers. It was founded in Prince George over 10 years ago, and aims to run outdoors and adventure based programming for youth ages 5 and up, with the goal of being low-cost and accessible. Because of this, repairing the damage at the camp and replacing the stolen goods puts a significant burden on the youth, who work hard to fundraise for their activities.

Currently, the damage to the cabin is so extensive that it would be dangerous to bring youth to the property. Any donations will go to cleaning the cabin, repairing the damage and replacing the camping gear that was stolen.
