Reopen Sachi: Keep Our Healing Community Alive

Sachi has been a haven of Asheville and a house of healing for well over a decade now, where thousands have come to seek peace and compassionate touch. Our beloved building has been standing for over a hundred years, and she really stood the test of time during hurricane Helene. Trees fell all around but she remained standing, with nothing more than a little rain and roof damage after all said and done. On Wednesday, September 25th, as waters began to rise on Merrimon and cancellations starting pouring in we worried.... but never could have imagined what devastation would strike our friends, family and town. We went from planning to hunker down for the weekend to wondering if we would ever open our doors again. The storm left most of our 15 employees displaced, and all without income indefinitely. This summer had been a particularly slow time for us at the spa and we were in no way prepared for weeks, if not months, without revenue. We have been blown away by the support of this community, both at home and at work. Neighbors have come together to lift each other up in absolutely unforgettable ways and have endowed these hills with a sacred bond. Because of the enormous amount of love, concern and support we have been shown, we became comfortable with the idea of asking for help. In order to reopen our doors and keep our little family together and our clients with their therapists, we will need to come up with roughly $6,000 for two months of rent. We understand that this is a large number, and we don't want to just ask for a hand out. We would like to pay it forward with a discount tier system on future services, to hopefully make up for the generous donations. We love you all and appreciate your support in these very trying times.

Clients who donate $100 will recieve 25% off of every service to the end of 2024.

Those who donate $300 will recieve 25% off services for the 6 months following our opening date.

$500 donations will grant 25% off for a year past our opening date.

All other donations, no matter how small, will recieve 25% off of their next service.
