Rent Relief for Lake Street Residents

On May 25, 2020 we watched the tragic death of a beloved member of our community, George Floyd. As a result, we are currently suffering, not just from the loss of George Floyd but also from the subsequent protests that ensued afterwards.
Our community is facing enormous emotional stress and financial hardship, due to the combination of the COVID-19 pandemic which has disproportionately affected Black and brown communities and the inexplicable loss of an innocent community member.
We are raising funds for members of our community that have lost their homes alongside people who are unable to pay their rent due to the fact that they have been affected by COVID-19. Donations will be distributed to families in need of immediate relief.
Now is your chance to help our community re-build and to ensure families survive these times of uncertainty. Your support will make certain that we will meet the immediate needs of many families affected by the protests and COVID-19.
