I can provide proof. I’m a single mother of two girls, ages 2 and 12, and I’m asking for help during one of the hardest times in my life. I am leaving an 8-year relationship because of domestic violence. There is a restraining order in place, and I have taken the necessary steps to keep myself and my children safe.

I am self-employed in the construction field and have been working for myself since 2019. Lately, work has been slow, and the bills have piled up. I am behind on everything, but right now I am only asking for help with the most urgent needs that are threatening our stability.

I need support for:Past-due rent: $2,200, because I have an eviction notice

PSE&G bill: $1,300, because I have a shutoff notice

As hard as it is for me to ask, I am doing this for my children. I am working and I will keep doing everything I can to provide for them, but right now I have fallen short and I need help getting through this emergency. I am trying my best to hold things together for my daughters while rebuilding a safe life for us.

If you can donate, no matter the amount, it would mean so much to my family. If you are not able to give, sharing this fundraiser would also help. Thank you for helping me protect a home and basic utilities for my girls while I fight to get back on my feet.
