Renovating the Three Sisters Cultural Centre

The Three Sisters Cultural Centre is launching a creative industry complex in the heart of downtown St. Jacobs, a well-established tourist destination in Southern Ontario, with an eclectic array of artisan shops and galleries.
As a not-for-profit, the Centre will provide a critical mass of artistic enterprises to form a community by providing an affordable and supportive environment in which the creative industry can thrive in Waterloo Region.
This fundraising effort is to support the renovations needed to convert an old tire garage into Artist Studios, a Gallery, an Event Space and Recording Rooms. In the house next door, a Tasting Room will be established where local craft beverages and tastes can be sampled and purchased. This Centre will become a place where artists can both create and sell their art, engage with other artists and participate in workshops and exhibitions to connect with admirers of their work.
Visitors and community members will be welcome to the Centre where they can mingle with local artists, learn from them and purchase their art. The event space will be available for rent to celebrate life achievements or to simply hold a meeting.
Having the Centre in the heart of St. Jacobs is an ideal location, as it is a well-established tourism destination and will appeal to all the visitors who come to the area, including the variety of tourists, local residents and day trippers.
