Renner's Save the Staff Fire Fund

Established in 1939, Renner’s Grill and Suburban Room has been a cherished part of Multnomah Village for decades. Throughout this unique restaurant’s long history, patrons have sought out Renner’s for its delicious food, great cocktails, and warm atmosphere.  Renner’s is truly a place where friends meet. Sadly, on Wednesday, March 28th, Renner’s experienced a tragic fire that has caused the restaurant to close down for an indefinite period. While reconstruction is well under way to get Renner’s back open as quickly as possible, it is still unclear how long the restaurant will need to remain closed. Renner’s is seeking a little help from family and friends now, in the form of this go fund me, in order to make payroll in the meantime. Renner’s needs assistance at present in order to pay staff during these unanticipated difficulties, and also to continue to pay for utilities. We are seeking help from our extended Renner’s family because we would love not to lose our staff during this period. Ultimately these funds are being used to supplement our insurance when it eventually comes through and to get the staff paid. Any little bit helps, and we look forward to opening up again soon and providing our community with good times, just like we always have. We thank you, and we appreciate you!

I live in Portland Oregon and have been a resident for 20 years.

My relationship to the parties involved in this campaign is I’m the General Manager and part owner.

These funds are to spent making payroll and to supplement any insurance coverage we may eventually get.

The employees will recieve these funds by continuing to get their paychecks and any other help we can offer to keep food in their belly’s and roofs over their heads.
