It's hard to get everyone to look at the camera at once~
This is almost the whole crew. 1 new member of the clan (Bella) didn't make the photo but I'll add a photo of her later. These wonderful fur babies are all either rescues or fosters from desperate situations. They are all between the ages of 12-16 years old and are a joy to come home to every day. They all have medical issues of some sort that range from arthritis and and little to no teeth due to age and neglect (one has no lower jaw at all) all the way up to the more severe cases of enlarged hearts, heart murmurs, congestive heart failure, collapsed tracheas and/or luxating patellas. Many are also either sight or hearing impared. But at the end of the day, they all get along knowing that they are home. They are safe, warm, well fed and know what it's like to be part of a family for what time they have left. I have tried to keep them as healthy and as comfortable as I possibly can but this has resulted in a very high veterinary bill. I have a wonderful vet that is always trying to save me money where ever possible for services but nevertheless, services have added up along with all of the expensive heart medications and dietary needs. So I am doing what I never thought I would do and that's to ask for help. I know that there are many people out there that would love to offer a home to these wonderful fur babies but are unable to due to space or time but have offered some financial support and up till now I have always turned those offers down and merely requested that people pay it forward but the time has come that I could use the help. Since I am not associated with any specific organization, I have been paying for these services on my own with the help of Care Credit but my limit has been met and I am asking for your support. Any little bit would help especially if this request can be forwarded to others that can support the cause. It takes the efforts of many to move any mountain. Thank you in advance for your support.
