Please help Renee fight this battle

In March of this year, I found a little lump in my neck. I thought it was a swollen gland from my allergies, as I've battled with those for years. What began as grape-size however, soon became lime-size in a matter of weeks. I  had it looked at locally, then had an ultra-sound done which resulted in suspicious findings. I transferred my records immediately to the Mayo Clinic, the same Clinic that just 18 months earlier saved Bobby's life, by the Grace of God. There, I had a biopsy done on the morning of April 11th, and by that afternoon, received a call that the biopsy showed I had Stage IV lung cancer that has matastized to my lymph nodes. Things moved pretty quickly from there....a PET CT scan, more biopsies, and then a rapid schedule of radiation on the node on the neck. In the results of the PET CT scans, they found tumors in my left lung, both adrenal glands, a few other lymph nodes, and a small spot on the bone of my skull. We never asked for projections of how much time I have, and we never will. God is in control of all that. He already knows the ending of this story, and I pray it's a happy one. I pray for healing, and many, MANY more years to love on my husband, son, and beautiful granddaughter. I pray none of my parents have to bury me before they themselves are called to Heaven. I pray I have years and years left to continue to make memories with my extended family and all of my treasured friends!

Once I completed the radiation, chemotherapy started. Since then, some tumors have disappeared by God's healing hand; some have stayed or grown a bit, and a few new ones have popped up. The side effects have been extremely challenging. I work as much as I can, but it's not as much as I'd prefer. I miss my work family very much! I received testing for immunotherapy which was outrageous, cost-wise, and it showed I'm not a very good match for it. After a very quick six months of treatment, the bills have recently started to roll in, and although my insurance pays 80%, the 20% remaining is adding up to be tens of thousands already.   It's very daunting.

So many friends and family members have asked again and again, "what can we do??" If you have it in your heart, and are able, please help us continue to fight this battle for my life. The added stress of these costs are working against me trying to be strong and remain focused in this fight.  All donations will go directly to Renee and Bobby's account to pay strictly for medical expenses and travel.  I promise you I'm fighting with everything I have, and then-some!!

Please pray for me. God bless each and every one of you.
