Rene Ryan's Run For the Love of Max

Recently,  a 12-year-old child in Central PA, Max Schollenberger, was found dead after suffering horrific child abuse.   To help heal the community and support aid for child abuse survivors, Annville resident Rene Ryan wanted to contribute to the Children's Resource Center (part of UPMC with locations in Lebanon and Harrisburg... https://www.upmc.com/services/south-central-pa/pediatrics/resources/crc).  As an athlete, she decided to run!  Rene is going to run SIXTY kilometers on Valentine's Day to raise money for this wonderful organization!  This run is called "For the Love of Max" and she will be running 37.3 miles in a one-mile loop around her beloved hometown. The goal is to raise $2,000 and collect 200 stuffed animals to donate to the Center.  All proceeds will go directly to the Children's Resource Center (personal GoFundMe was used as the tax ID number is not separate from UPMC).  To donate a stuffie, please ship them - or better yet, drop them off! - to Rene's fitness studio, CRE 4 Fitness, at 42 E.
