Renco Booyse Memorial Fund
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we honor one of our South African workers: Barend Jacobus Renco Booyse of Newcastle, Natal, who has been working at Hearn Farms in Stafford Kansas for the last three years, who passed away Thursday, October 19, at 1:30 p.m. central time. Renco, as he was known, was 25 years old and an avid deep sea fisherman. He is survived by a brother, Alex, who is devastated by his loss, as well as his loving parents. Workman’s comp provides some coverage for the needs the family will have in flying to the US to have him cremated and then returning home to South Africa with his remains, as well as the funeral expenses there, but it won’t be nearly enough. Money won’t compensate the family for their loss, but it will relieve a concern that they shouldn’t have to worry about during this difficult time. If you feel led to assist them with any amount at all in lieu of flowers, please know that anything you give will go directly to the family and nowhere else. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends and we pray that Jesus would bring His incomparable comfort to each of them, as well as the Hearn Family for whom he worked so faithfully for so many years.
