This Thanksgiving season we want to come together as a community and give the special gift of reading to the kids who need it most! This is a page dedicated to raising donation money that will buy brand new books for the children and families served by the Giraffe Laugh Child Care Centers.
These books will be given out to the low income families that Giraffe Laugh helps and some may be used in their classrooms. This book drive will be through Usborne Books and More who will match your donation at 50%! This means that if you donate $30, with the match it turns into $45 of high quality books for these children.
Any donation will help make an amazing impact for these kids who often don't own more than 1 or 2 books in their home. Statistics now show that this extreme lack of reading materials before the age of 5 can shape and influence their entire lives for the worse.
