Help Us Revitalize Our Community and Inspire the Next Generation
In the heart of Darrouzett, Texas, a nearly 100-year-old building is being brought back to life, and we need your help to complete this incredible transformation. Once abandoned and in disrepair, this historic building is being remodeled to serve as a hub of education, creativity, and community engagement.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of Rachel and Ryan Jett, this project has already come a long way. Rachel, an EMT, and Ryan, a farmer and rancher, have poured their hearts into restoring this piece of history with the help of friends, family, and the community.
But this is more than just a renovation project—it’s about creating opportunities for kids in a rural area. In 2019, Rachel’s son developed an interest in robotics. In a town with limited resources and no school robotics team, Rachel took action. She founded the Lipscomb County Robotics Non-Profit Organization, which has been teaching kids programming, engineering, and technology skills ever since.
This building will be home to:
- A dance studio to encourage creativity and physical
- A multi-purpose community classroom for education and events. (not just
- A third space that’s still being planned—your contributions could help shape its future!
Your donation will help complete the remodeling, furnish the spaces, and support the non-profit’s efforts to provide vital educational opportunities in robotics and technology for kids in our small town. Together, we can preserve this piece of history and empower the next generation of thinkers and creators.
Let’s show what’s possible when a community comes together! Please donate today and share this campaign to help spread the word.
