Remie Mae

Remie Mae was born January 25, 2017. Two weeks later, during a check-up, we were informed she had a heart murmur. On Febuary 15 they told us our sweet girl had a heart defect that would require open heart surgery to repair. My heart sank as this reality set in -something was very wrong with my daughter’s heart. At the same time, I felt inexplicable peace, peace that only God gives. I’ve experiences a number of breakdown moments preparing for what I feel will be one of the most difficult times of my life.

Lastly, we’ve met and learned about some wonderful families who are also dealing with CHD. We want to raise awareness for Congenital Heart Defects (CHD). When they ask, let people know twice as many babies die each year from CHD then all childhood cancers combined -yet pediatric cancer research gets about five times the amount of CHD. So, 10% of these profits will go to the American Heart Association.
