Remembering Marco Serrano

My father was an incredible man who was loved and continues to be loved by many. Last night around 3 am, my father lost his life to cancer. He was battling lung cancer for 3 and a half years and put up the strongest fight i've ever seen. It's very hard right now, but me and my family are trying our hardest to pull through this tough time. I will continue to make him proud by working and continuing my academics to fulfill my dreams the way he always encouraged me to do. There will be a part of my father in every person who knew and loved him. Even through chemo, he continued to work until he could not work no more. He worked at Nappy's Auto Shop, in Croton-on-Hudson for 25 years, where he built so many memories with his fellow workers and clients. Many of who adored my father very much. He showed all of us what it was to fight and to never let anything get in your way. I ask for any amount of donation we can possibily get for medical expenses and other utilities to help our family pay what needs to be paid. Especially now more than ever, a simple small donation can make all the difference. His family and his loved ones will continue to cherish and celebrate his life the way I know he would have wanted.
