Remembering Robert P. Alagna

 
Hello friends. Anyone who knows Robert Paul "Bob" Alagna has a story about him. It saddens us to say our beloved family member passed away unexpectedly and suddenly yesterday, October 3rd. He was rushed to UIC after falling out at work and it was later discovered it was due to cardiac arrest. He experienced three total and passed around 6pm with two of his five siblings by his side. 

Robert grew up in the Pilsen area and was known and loved by many. He attended Curie HS and prided himself in working at italian restaurants and bakeries. He absolutely loved Star Wars, good food, WWE, snack cakes, and the Lord. He was a faithful member of New Life Community Church in Midway. Bob was a stage four cancer survivor and was a fighter. He was always the handy man of the family and definitely topped the chart with his sarcasm. The only thing bigger than his sarcastic mouth was his big heart and the love he had for friends, family, and neighbors.

Although this is a difficult time to overcome the shock and the reality of the situation, we take comfort in knowing that our beloved Bob had his faith in Jesus. 

With his passing being so sudden, we are figuring out arrangements to celebrate his life. To help with all these unexpected costs, please consider contributing so we can give him the memorial that our Bob deserves. We appreciate all of your support, whether through donations, prayers, and all of the love that has come our way as his family.  At this point, I believe my uncle Bob will be cremated and a scheduled service at his home church, NL Midway.
