Remembering Mummy...

Not sure where to start, other than to say how my brave wife has fought her brain tumour for 5yrs now.
Unfortunately, her battle is near the end.
Over the last five years, Alex has endured several brain surgeries, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Ultimately it is a battle she cannot win, but has valiantly tried.
During her 5yr battle, Alex completed an OU degree with honours, took up a relief teaching assistant role, all before the tumour robbed her of her dreams.
Alex and I have twin girls, who have been extremely brave supporting their mummy through this tough time and I now want to ensure they know they are loved by not just our immediate family but by everyone around us.
We’ve made some wonderful memories over the last 5yrs of her battle and I’ve explained to our girls that although mummy will no longer be physically with us on our adventures, but that she will be in our hearts forever.
I’ve had many people offering support and thought this may be the best way to collate and allow people to donate to support us.
Over the last 5yrs, we have raised £16,000 for the Brain Tumour Charity in Alex’s name. So she will have a lasting legacy, both in our immediate family but also wider context.
I’ve no idea on how much or how little to ask for, I don’t have a target. I don’t have an expectation. I would love to be able to dedicate any funds raised for special treats and pick me ups for the girls to enjoy, remember mummy and get through the inevitable harder times.
Over the next years I would love to be able to treat the girls, share adventures with them and allow them to carry on the journey we started with their Mummy.
Perhaps Harry Potter world, they love the books or theme park day trips because their mummy loved rollercoasters until the brain tumours stopped her.
