<div>Matthew served in the 3rd Battalion 7th Marine Regiment and deployed to Iraq in 2018. He is also an Eagle Scout out of Troop 778. He loved to snowboard and the outdoors, and maintained close relationships with his friends and family.

<div>I have known Matthew since he was six years old, and if there was one attribute that I could describe him, it would be "kind-hearted". This by far is one of the rarest and most valuable characteristic to find in a person. Matthew will be missed by all, and no one on this earth can fill the void left by him.

<div>He leaves behind a mother, brother, sister, two nephews, a Marine family, and Troop 778.
